Golden Turmeric Latte

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup coconut milk or any plant milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 pinch black pepper helps absorb the turmeric
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Add the coconut milk, water, turmeric, cinnamon, ginger and black pepper to a small saucepan.
  2. Warm over medium heat, whisking constantly, until steaming but not boiling, about 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from the heat and whisk in the maple syrup and vanilla.
  4. Froth with a whisk or milk frother, pour into a mug and dust with a little extra cinnamon.
